My name is Jenny and I am a Personal Trainer, Pilates Instructor and NLP Practitioner. I have always been into fitness, I grew up horse riding as well as competing in gymnastics. At the age of 18 I was forced to give up riding due to an injury, this is when I discovered the gym.
One of my favourite quotes is ‘One of the greatest moments in life is realising that two weeks ago your body couldn't do what it just did’. I love to push myself in the gym and be able to do things that were once impossible. Feeling fit and strong is fantastic and my other passion is helping other people to not only fall in love with their bodies but also with the process of working out.
I have always been dedicated to furthering my knowledge so that I can be the best trainer I can be. I have completed the following courses; Level 3 Personal Trainer, STOTT Pilates, NLP Practitioner, Pre/Post Natal exercise, Indoor Cycling Animal Flow, Ballet Barre, Kettlercise, Kettlebells Levels 1 & 2, Sports Nutrition, Obesity & Weight Management, Circuit Training, Suspension Training, PowerPlate and VIPR. I combine all these skills to offer a unique style of training which will never get boring!
Having studied Psychology at University I have always been interested in people’s mindset and how some people stick with the gym and others give up. I work with my clients to help identify any barriers to change, work on improving their self-image as well as using certain techniques to make habit change easy.
The biggest challenge I have come across whilst working in the business is generating new clients. I have always found the sales side of things particularly awkward. the other down side to the job is the hours, working early mornings and evenings can take its toll but I wouldn’t want to do anything else.
